the other day i told my best friend how i have feelings for him. he took it really well and just said that he wishes he told me sooner because the main reason why i told him was because he was going to hook up with another girl that night. even though he was reassuring that everything was fine and was still really sweet to me when the girl came to our friend's house that we were at, i still don't know if i made a mistake by saying something. i actually feel weak and nauseous from my nerves

You did the complete right thing if you actually have those feelings for him. Don’t feel weak and nauseous from it. He took it well which is a great sign, it just might take him some time to get feelings for you.
